I received an email from All Seasons Travel stating that FL resident rates are expected to be released today for some of the 7-night sailings in June. Just wanted to give a heads up, since I'm sure they will go fast. :sunny:

I know you've been waiting for resident rates! Does this mean you'll be cruising again??? :sunny:

I hope I get upgraded first;) On our sailing I can still get a cabin for a party of 4 in every category except 12.

Great news for all of you Florida residents!!!:)

Melody-

:( Sadly, we just can't swing a 7-night, as much as we'd like to. DH can't get a whole week off from work.

This does give us hope, though, that there's a chance some 3-night rates will be released. We really need a Disney fix to get us through the summer blackout on our seasonal passes. (DS has been requesting to watch the planning video from last year and the new dvd, every day, and keeps asking to go on the "Disney boat." We've created a monster! LOL!)

Ooooh! I'll cross my fingers for you and throw a little **PD** your way! :sunny:

With Mickey's "Little Helper" mailing out those DCL postcards, no wonder you have created a new DCL monster, LOL!!! Speaking of which, more postcards are on the way.

Once my mom moves to Florida this summer, she will be looking into those Florida discount rates.

I already call castaway club this morning. They're releasing the rastes for the 7 night only for June, but they're not in the system yet! She said to call back at 9 or 9:15 and it will be category 11 through 5. She also said that they won't be doing any 3 or 4 nights as they're already basically full and they don't have to.
Now to just convince my husband and I just booked us on a 7 night Princess cruise out of San Juan in October. Somehow I think he's going to say that 3 7 nights cruises in 1 year is too many!

Okay, here's the latest. They're having technical difficulties with their computers so they don't know when the rates will be in. I was told to just keep calling back. This CM also said it's only the 7 night.

If your mom is a FL resident and listed on one of the staterooms, each person in that stateroom gets the FL resident rate. So, if you and your family are lucky enough to go with her, you can get the discount for one stateroom. If your mom has a friend or significant other who she brings, you can put each in a different stateroom and get the rate for two rooms . . . and so on and so on . . . you get the picture.

The FL rates are usually equivalent to an on-board re-booking discount.

I don’t have access to a phone right now. Does anyone know what the dates and what's the rates?

Thanks,
Debbie

F.Y.I.

I just called Allseas travel and they said that they are all sold out of FL resident specials. She said that they sold out within 2 hours.

W@W

I'm hoping we can get FL res applied to our 9/4 cruise....I guess time will tell... it's not like the old days..definitely a testament to the economy improving that these discounts are so rare

Alexandrew--

Hello fellow Disney Magic September 4th cruiser! :)

We too will be watching for Florida Resident Rates for the sailing but they would have to be pretty steep to be worthwhile this time around. When we booked onboard they were offering the $400.00 onboard credit and we booked at $799 per person. So, the rates would have to drop below $599 for it to be worthwhile for us and I just don't see that happening!

BTW, it's never too late to send in your info for the Disney Magic September 4 Cruise List on ThreeCircles.net! :teeth:

All Seas may be out of the Florida resident rates, but Disney itself isn't, I just got off the phone with them. They had availability all all 4 cruises for June. I didn't book because they didn't have the categories that I wanted, if they had an 11 for the kids, the 6 wasn't available or was on GTY, etc. Oh well.
