My father retired this summer and now he travels in his RV. He plans to spend the winter months in FL and then travel back to MI during the summer months. He's a snowbird essentially.

Will WDW accept a part-time resident license in order to receive a FL resident discount? I have to find out if he qualifies for a FL part-time license, but I'm pretty sure he does.

My folks do have FL ID but they own a winter home here that only they live in (they don't rent it out or anything). They are able to get the FL resident passes. If your dad qualifies for a FL ID then I don't see why not.

Here's what the website says:

Proof of Florida residency is required -- you must provide any one of the following:
* Florida driver's license
* Florida state-issued ID card (must have Florida address)
* Florida voter's registration card with corresponding picture ID
* A college ID for a Florida college
* Florida-based military ID

Does that help?

Hmm... I think this will work. He has an address where his RV is parked, and he's going to be in Florida until March (at least). Lots of people winter in Florida, that's why they have specail part-time resident licenses. I'll have him get one and we'll try it.

When in doubt, I'll call WDW.
