FL resident parent and visiting children

My ex-husband may move to Florida soon. Can he get the FL Resident discount on passes for our kids when they visit him?

Absolutely!! Kids are never asked for ID. He just fills out the form with his address and pays for their passes. I bought a Seasonal Annual Pass my granddaughter last Feb and for my grandson in March. Thia is even written about in "The Unoffical Guide to WDW" where I got the idea.
BTW, kids are able to bypass the scanner too.

Chilfren under age 10 are able to bypass the finger scans. Ages 10 and older have to use them.

That is kids that have to pay for adult tickets cannot bypass the scanner. The kids I brought have never been asked their ages on a kids AP. I guess a kid who looks older will be stopped of course.

My parents are FL residents. They want to purchase resident season passes for my 4 dd's. Two of them will be 10+. I was told Dad could purchase theses tickets, and should the occasion arise where I took dd's without him, all would be ok. But I didn't know the two dd's would be scanned. Does anyone see a problem with my above scenario?

Right now, the plan is my folks would be with us the whole time. But you never know....what if my parents couldn't make it to a park one day? Can the girls still get in?

I may have the same situation as house_of_princesses - it is likely that (at least once or twice) I would take the kids to WDW instead of their dad. I'd have whatever pass works for me, of course, but would there be a problem with my taking them? Must a FL resident accompany them?

First of all, I doubt very much that anyone will even question the children's passes. There's no reason for the CMs to question or stop the kids at the entrance turnstiles just because they are using FL-resident passes. Lots of people use FL-resident passes!

If for some reason they do, just tell the truth - the tickets were puchased by the children's father who lives in Florida, now. You aren't/won't be doing anything wrong. The CMs know that you cannot activate/purchase FL-resident tickets without showing ID (and the children's father would have shown ID when he purchased the tickets or the first time he and the kids used the passes).
