Ok I live in Fl and we are going to be at a trade show for work Valentine's weekend. That Sunday (16th) is also my birthday.

I grew up 45 mins from Disneyland, so I have no idea what park I should go to on that Sunday (my only day to go). Any tips?

Are there any discounts for 2 FL residents for one day at one park?
Or do they have discount tickets for after a certain time on? Like 4pm - close or 6- close?

Disneyland used to so I was just curious.
Wishing I could go to Disneyland (calif) instead but it isn't an option

;) I have no kids and am not into rides like Tower of Terror. But rides like space Mt & splash mt are great. Just no upsideown rides .

Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi!...I too am a transplant from Calif and do miss Disneyland...we used to live 20 min. away!... Anyway...I haven't heard of any discounts but you could always call and ask....

The parks well if you just want to walk around and ride a few rides then I would go to Epcot..you have all of the lands and shops and some rides too....but if you are missing Disneyland then I would try the Magic Kingdom...it is different(think big and spread out!) but you have the variety of rides there...Space and splash and thunder mountain etc...which are always fun...(I do like the Calif Space mountain better though)
And no Indian Jones at the world....I probably wasn't much help!but

Have a Happy Birthday!

There aren't any Florida Residents discounts for one day tickets, only annual and seasonal passes.

Welcome to the DIS Raech!

As mrsdiznee said - there are no discounts for one day admissions. And no discounts for going in in the evening. :(

The only discounted thing that you MAY want to consider is purchasing a 3 day hopper (if you are interested, we can point you in the direction of where to find them - but they must be purchased before you go). These passes never expire and you could use leftover days on a future visit.

But if you think that you will never go back - or don't want to spend the money up front then you are stuck with purchasing a one day ticket to one park. It is an extremely difficult job to try to advise someone who has never been to WDW as to what park to choose for one day. If you want to get the Disneyland "feel" - then Magic Kingdom will be your best bet.

Or for a completely different idea - you could just skip the park and go to Downtown Disney for shopping and eating for the day and then spend the evening at Pleasure Island. (there ARE discounted passed avaialble for PI - again you need to purchase them before you go.) Just a thought.

Hope that helps some. And hope that your one day trip to WDW leaves you only wanting more. :teeth:
