FL resident disney play four pass

Does anyone know if they will be offering this FL resident disney play four day pass again for the fall??

It seems to be historically offered just once in a year. Because it just expired in June I doubt they will do another one this year. I would love it if they did though!

No, it is offered in Jan thru the first week in June ONLY now!

My advice on this one is to check out the FL. seasonal pass instead, since with the play 4 pass you only get to do the 4 parks once for $109.00. For another $100.00 you can go as much as you want and to as many parks in a day as you want. There are some blackout dates but they are at times I would not want to be at the parks anyways. The play 4 pass also was not good during those same times.

March 19-April 1 2005

Parking is extra but I find that I go several times to the festivals at EPCOT alone so it is a great deal for me especially since I am about 90 minutes away. Renewal rates are typically $25.00 cheaper than the original. With this pass you have it paid for in 4 visits anyways. I think it is a much better deal than the play 4 pass and there are other perks associated with it, like room discounts etc. AAA has them available at a reduced rate.

We went in March on the play 4 days pass, and a month ago they sent me a letter that said they would upgrade our passes to Fl resident seasonal passes for only 90/adult, and 63/child, it still works out to be the same price, just that I guess we've already paid for half of it.

Are these blackout dates published somewhere? I've been looking for these later 2005 blackout dates. Thanks for the info.

The best deal for them for that length of time is the FL resident Season Pass. If I remember correctly, when I purchased our season passes, the breakeven point was 3 1/2 days. As long as you're going to be in the parks at least 4 days, then then Season Pass is cheaper. It was $189 when I purchased it - I know it's gone up a little bit since then, and the child's pass was $169 - also would now be a little bit more. Like someone else said, you don't get free parking with the season pass, but if you're staying on-site, you would get free parking or could use Disney transportation.

The Play 4 Days is actually one of the few Disney admission media that has a definite pattern to it since its introduction in 2000. It has been offered twice yearly in the even numbered years (2000 & 2002) and once in the odd numbered years (2001 & 2003).

The first date of use in 2000 stopped on May 21. In 2002, it was June 7. Both years had a second Play 4 Days offering that year.

In both 2001 and 2003, the date of use stopped on 9/30 which explains the lack of a second offer.

Now keep in mind as I tell folks all the time, past history is no guarantee of future events with Disney but I would say it is definitely possible to have another Play 4 Days offered in the fall.

if anyone belongs to aaa you can get the fl seasonal pass for about $10 cheaper..hope you have a wonderful trip

I agree that Disney normally only offers it during the Summer Months and once a year...now that is not to say they bring it back during the winter, I would highly recommand the Seasonal Pass, yes it is $199 for adults, and has black out periods, and usually these periods are the busiest times for Disney World, but it acts just like the Annual Pass as for as benefits and it is cheaper then the regular 4 day park hopper and you can use it as offten as you like during the year (excluding the black out period)
