For anyone who has purchased a FL resident 3 day play pass...are there blackout dates for these? I read in an old thread that there are not? So if there aren't blackout dates, this would mean we could go to WDW during SAP blackout times and use these passes??

I'm asking because we are thinking of going the first week of Jan. instead of our usual Dec. time. Our current SAPs expire in December so it would be ideal to get 3 day play passes in Jan. and then upgrade them to SAPs when we return again in the spring (then it won't cost so much at one time) and we'd be able to go when the SAP would be blacked out the first few days of January??

Bumping...there's gotta be some FL people out there that have gotten these passes???

We have gotten the 3 day pass, no blackout dates.

 I haven't bought these before, but everything I've read shows just that they expire 6 months after first use:

Florida Resident 3 Day Play Pass - Have great fun for three glorious days for the price of two. Florida residents can purchase a 3-Day Play Pass. You can use the 3-Day Play Pass for up to six months from its first use! And, best of all, this ticket is available year-round with no block out dates. Plus, the initial cost of the 3-Day Play Pass can be applied to the purchase of an Annual or Seasonal Pass. Non expiration option is available for an extra cost.

Thanks for your replies, then my plan to go in January would work nicely, now to just find a place to stay. :thumbsup2
