I just saw this youtube vid and finally got a glimpse of the Harry Potter ride seats. They look awfully close to what Soarin' has in Epcot. With all the posts about people not fitting into the seats got me worried for my July trip. Being 6'2" and 265lbs I've never been turned away from a thrill ride nor ever had to sit in any special seating.

Anyway, I'm going to keep looking for more info. Here's the link to youtube vid, they show a second of what the seats look like at the end:

Kinda like Soarin but not quite.

FJ uses a robotic technology called a Kuka arm. It's supposed to swerve you around as if you are on a roller coaster without moving. In the FJ ride however the Kuka arm does move you slowly from scene to scene.

Example of the Kuka arm at Legoland

Maybe in the future...once the Kuka technology is more advanced, they'll be able to create seats that will accompany bigger people.
