fixing to add-on!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi all, we just returned from OKW and it was great. but we went to the VWL and absolutely fell in love with that resort, so we went as fast as we could to our guide and told him we wanted to do an add-on and he checked and told me that we were in luck that they had 3500 points available for april use year, we were so excited, so we ended up getting 140 points, and so that brings our total to 350, 210 BCV,140 VWL. we are already planning our vacations for next year. we also got to see the BCVs for the first time during our stay and they were also very beautiful i just cant wait to be able to stay at both of our home resorts.

Hi Misty, I have a question for you that I've been wondering about for awhile. I am a brand new member and have 181 points at the BCV's. My maintenance fee will be about 750.00 a year. When everyone keeps adding on to their points at different resorts, aren't you paying a huge amount in maintenance fees? Isn't that sort of what you want to avoid when you join DVC, not paying as much as you would have at a regular resort? It just seems to me when people keep adding on, the maintenance fee just keeps getting higher and higher. Am I wrong about this? What am I missing, can you explain? thanks.

Congrats on getting VWL! We stayed there a week ago Friday and loved it as well! Were they offering any Magical Beginnings deals, where they would buy points back, and if so, how much per point?Thanks!Sus
