I must say, its tough, stressful, and tedious work!! :worship: Those who do this for a living have my sympathies!

It's probably not the least stressful thing I can be doing during this pregnancy, but since I'm on bedrest and have this wonderful laptop here beside me, its a task I have been working on, at least.

Has anyone else undertaken this great big project as well??

I'm working on detailing all of our finances, so that we can pay off our school loans and credit cards.

I'm also working on improving my credit score, but its been difficult. Its been one road block after another, and every piece of info out there contradicts each other in endless ways.

Todays obstacle? I've been working on getting a collections removed from two of the other bureaus that was removed from one. It was from the credit union we have our truck financed through. They confirmed it was their error, and had it removed from experian. I had to send in documentation to the other two, and today I received a findings from transunion that was for the wrong darn thing! Ugh. :headache: Now I can't find the info that stated what was removed from experian, and of course, I can't seem to contact them and talk to a human to get the info again. It was sent through email, and you only have four days to view those, and I need another copy of it.

I also spent three hours on the phone with HP customer service today to get the power charger cord replaced for our laptop. It's still under warranty, and I don't have a clue why it took 3 hours of my cell phone minutes to get it replaced. I still have no idea if I'm getting a replacement or not. :confused3

Anyone else on the long road of financial fix-dome?

I feel you. Oh and congrats on the pregnancy, dont stress yourself about bills too much on bedrest! Try and relax.:rotfl: I laugh because that sounds like something I would do, try and be productive while on bed rest... My husband is an iron worker so our income can fluctuate quite a bit. We have some credit card debt, and still own our 2009 taxes. ANND just bought into DVC.:lovestruc We bought resale and paid for it with our tax return. We have always been able to just pay everything off so got into a habit of charging and then when his work is great with OT (overtime) and the money is good we pay it down. Its time to start saving and paying off the cards. I need a budget. We need to start saving for retirement and our son, and future childrens college funds.:scared1: I have just started the 'No Buy March' thread, and its a real eyeopener to our spending. I started half way through the month, but it has really kept me motivated to watch my spending. But to answer your question, YES, its totally overwhelming! Good luck though, I hope you get a plan of action in order real soon!
