Like Helenabear, I lost my mom about 10 years ago, in may.

{{{HUGS}}} Boots! It's been just over 5 years since I lost my mom as well. I had 6 months to say good-bye from when she was diagnosed with cancer. The grieving started early, but the extra time gave us a chance to really say good-bye. Yet there seems like there is never enough time and I still find things in my life I wish I could have asked her about.

I know she is in my heart and I pray or talk to her often.
