Our daughter will be five years old at cruise time, and she tends to be a little shy. We are worried she won't want to do any of the kids activities without us. Will anyone on the cruise also be traveling with a girl around her age in a similar boat (no pun intended!)?

Sorry, my DGD is much older, but I know of several couples that are taking younger children.....they will post I'm sure. Welcome !!!!!

You might be surprised. The ship has a way of working some special magic....:goodvibes

I can easily get down on my knees and pretend I am five and play with her for a while. Maybe that would get me in to the kid's area that I hear is great.
Hope we can meet up pre-cruise so I will not be a total stranger to her.

My Princess Emily is 6 years old, who likes Sleeping Beauty and Ariel. She has said she would be your daughter's friend.

She is an Aussie, so there will be some different things to talk about

We can certainly find a time to get together pre-cruise, Lyn, either in Maine or in the parks beforehand!

That's terrific. Violet's favorite princess is Ariel. I'm sure she and Emily will get along swimmingly! Thanks!

My DD just turned 7 and has friends 2 years up and 2 years down in age. She loves Ariel best but all things Princess are great. She will be going to the kids club and is really quick to befriend everyone.
