So, for those of you that think they shouldn't have peanuts, how about seafood restaurants? Should they stop serving seafood? Should restaurants that do serve sea food be required to put signs on the door stating they serve sea food? I know a LOT more people with seafood allergies then peanut allergies.
Well I think it's fine if they have peanuts but I do think they need to provide a warning on the door just because it isn't expected that a restaurant serving burgers will have peanuts out in the open and cracked on the floor. Now if the restaurant were called "Joe's Peanut and Steak Shack" then I think that's pretty obvious. But, there is nothing about "Five Guys Burgers and Fries" that tells me that it is a peanut land mine.
For restaurants, it's a given that there will be at least one seafood dish on any menu. Most restaurants post a menu at the door and you can read it before you even walk in.
