I'm sure many have already seen this, but I don't see a post on it.
Burger King is being replaced by Five Guys at CitiWalk.

I think this is a decent change. I had no interest in BK but I might grab a burger at Five Guys.
I don't eat at Five guys typically as its a bit overpriced - but with the higher prices at Universal in general I can see Five Guys being a decent option for a quick meal.

Cmon Universal… get better burger joints. You can get Five Guys anywhere nowadays. They should seriously consider getting a smaller locally owned place in CityWalk…

No interest, I could get Five Guys locally (but I don't bother here either).
Although I didn't ever go to the BK so it's no loss either.

I'm not excited about this. Five Guys is already expensive. It's probably going to be more expensive in a theme park shopping center.

Although I agree, I assume that a small locally owned place would not be able to afford the costs so really cant see that happening.

Would I rather see something like In-and-out that I can't get locally - sure - but they don't seem to be interested in expanding.
Culvers is already in Orlando and there are other chains that would be preferable to Five Guys - no doubt.
Still compared to Burger King - its an improvement.

In the end my preference for a quick burger would be still be Wimpey's, but its not always open.
Then it will come down to price - might still be a better value to go to NBC grill for example.

Still Id consider it and that is an improvement over BK.

I'm good with this. I was always glad to have an option like Burger King, just in case....for that picky kid phase where it was just easier to get a kid a burger/fries there. We love Five Guys, but whew they are crazy pricey now. When they first came to a convenient locale in middle TN, we were going frequently. Hadn't been in a long while, like since Covid, due to their increasing prices, it's about 12.29 now to just get a double cheeseburger. Couple weeks ago, they were doing a special bogo, and we got some. YUM! But it's gonna be pricey to get on City walk I'm sure, probably nothing we'll choose to do, but glad to have that option there. DS pretty much just gets burgers no matter where we go....except Olive Garden.
We just got an In/Out here in middle TN, and I still haven't been yet. Went once in CA, meh. but DH went the other day, and was able to get a combo, double/double w fries, milkshake for less than just 1 cheeseburger at Five Guys....
