I am curious if the gym has fitness classes, and if so, is there a list somewhere that I could view? We will be on the Fantasy in December.

Hoping to be able to take a Zumba class to offset some Mickey Bars :)

Thank you!

You'll usually find it in the Navigator. I'm not sure if there is a single consolidated list for the entire cruise you can view in advance. You might be able to find the list on the first at the gym however.

I think bootcamp cost extra. I looked through old navigators before the cruise to figure out what fitness classes there were because I'm so used to doing classes at home. I don't remember Zumba though.

This is interesting. I didn't know they offered classes. Anyone remember what kinds of classes are often offered?

Thanks ;)

Spin classes and yoga for sure. I watched a spin class while I was working out once - instructor was incredibly energetic.

Some mornings at 7 am there is a stretch class and some mornings at the same time there is a yoga class. There are some other classes as well (Fab Abs, Spin, etc.) and these are free, but there are some do require an extra free.

@bumbershoot how were the yoga classes? I've only read 1 review of yoga (class by the Donald pool, not the Serenity Bay one) and it was...not complimentary, to say the least.

I have done the spinning classes and pilates. They were in the gym and were good classes. If you do want to attend, make sure you go a couple of minutes early. Each of the classes I attended was full and people were turned away (it was a January cruise, so not a full ship).

When we were on the Magic exactly a year ago we picked up this schedule when touring the Spa and gym on embarkation day:

I don't know if this is provided for each cruise. It wasn't in our room or with the Navigator. We picked it up a the Spa ourselves. So it's a good idea to check this on embarkation day. The Spa will be open for touring anyway.

They were decent. Same teacher for both and hewas nice but could have spoken up a bit more. Especially on Serenity. Got some stretching in, felt decent about myself after. It worked. :)

To the OP, I have not seen zumba classes available. I also am a big fan of zumba but I don't know if there would be space? It takes up more floor area than is probably available in the gym. Unless they held it on of the bar areas, which would be fun :)

I think it's mainly pilates, stretching, fab abs and boot camp. From what I've seen, only boot camp is an additional charge.
