Fitness Center at VWL

Have an upcoming trip scheduled for the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge and was wanting to know a little more about the fitness center. Has anyone out there ever used it. Is there a charge for hotel guests (DVC)? What type (how much) equipment? Is it very crowded?

There is also an interior entrance to sturdy branches inside the DVC lobby. Sorry I can't answer anything else, I have never actually used the facility.

We were there in December, there is no charge. We stayed at the 2 bedroom right above the gym and my daughter used it every morning, during Christmas week. It was never crowded, she just signed in using her room key. There are about 10 treadmill and about 10 crosstrainers, also free weights. She loved it.

The VWL gym is good. As you will see in the pictures there are cardo machines and free weights. Enjoyed the gym after a 3 to 5 mile run.

The best gym I have used on Disney property is the SSR Spa.

Forgot to mention and as noted above there is no charge if you are a DVC member. Have fun!
