Fitbit in the parks?

Just wondering -

I see posts about pedometers in the park. Anyone worn their fitbit? How much did you walk?

And, did you notice it adding steps when you rode rides? What about adding stair flights when you rode stuff like SM?

Fitbit wearer everyday. We did about 13 miles a day according to my fitbit and that is a few miles lower than our past years trips according to other pedometers, but we took an easier pace this trip, so that makes sense.

I wore mine in the parks in January. I just went back and looked mine up:
AK - 8.26 miles
DHS - 7.89 miles
MK - 7.21 miles and 6.86 miles

I don't think it added anything on the rides.

It never fails to amaze me at the mileage we do at WDW! Even people who are mostly sedentary in their everyday lives are doing these miles right along with runners and the super-fit.

Glad to hear it's not tracking on rides; I did hear there were some issues with SOME of the Fitbit Ones that caused tracking while in vehicles.

will have mine in October. My coworker went in March and did 26,000 steps one day and that was with an afternoon nap break for his kids. Will be interested to see how many steps I do.

Anyone have any issues with fitbit/MagicBands interference?

you fitbit wearers, what do you average daily non-WDW? not including during cardio.. just normal day-to-day miles..

I go for a minimum of 5000 steps. My company has a wellness program (Vitality) and earning points allows us to lower our health care premiums. Everyone got a Fitbit and 5,000 steps a day earns you 5pts, 10,000 steps, 10 points. I sit at a desk all day and walk at lunch to get my 5000 steps. Weekends are easy, shopping errands, and cleaning sure generate a lot of step!

My husband wore his Fitbit every day in the parks two weeks ago. On a normal day, his goal is 10,000 steps. He gets 5-7 thousand with normal activity. He walked 71.1 miles over 7 days. On one day, he stayed in the room and didn't track until we left mid-afternoon for MNSSHP, and we took a 3-4 hour break in our room for 5 of the other days. I walked a similar amount or maybe even more, because I went to DtD on our party day and also did some extra walking around our resort. On a trip earlier this summer, we walked up to 14 miles a day. I don't know about the elevation changes.

No Fitbit here (and not trying to threadjack), but what are people with Nike Fuelbands getting for numbers?
