Does anyone know how the sizing is for the new Champion womens long sleeve tech tees are? According to the size chart, I'm probably between a XS and Small, so I'm wondering just how fitted they are. I usually wear a size 2 top, XS or Small depending on the brand.

Thanks!

I wear a small in the women's cut Champion shirts from WDW Marathon, Princess, and Tinker Bell races. My frame is close to a medium (5'7") with a low volume body and average chest. The small fits me with no tightness anywhere.

Unless the service is stopped, there is a user-friendly shirt exchange area at the expo.

From my experience, though, you do have to be willing to wait around and spend some time checking and rechecking. So if you have time constraints causing your expo visit to be really short, don't expect to be able to have a successful exchange. Give yourself time.

Thanks, that's really helpful!

Great -- Thanks for letting me know I helped!!

bumbershoot's experience has been different than mine. I hope bumbershoot's next Expo shirt exchange goes more smoothly :)

For the dozens of runDisney races I have done in the last several years, I have experienced (and appreciated) consistently seamless shirt exchanges. I have not had to wait or check/recheck. I pick up my pre-ordered shirts, try them on, and if exchanging, walk right up to the fully staffed 'shirt exchange' counter, ask for the size I want to try, and the exchange is made. You can try them on over your clothes or go into the ladies room (because if you plan on putting in a lot of mileage wearing these shirts, they have to fit well). If you don't like the alternative size, you can switch back to the originals, or even try an all together different size.

The issue is that they have to have your size. If they don't, if no one else has exchanged their shirt in the size that you want, there will be nothing for you to exchange for.

I was in the process of my weight loss when I signed up for TOT last year. I estimated what I might be, and I estimated too big. Add to that the fact that the TOT shirts ran very very very big last year, and it just wasn't good. Because they ran so big, I think a lot of people were exchanging for smaller shirts, so the smaller shirts bin was empty most times I passed by. Finally I saw a shirt in the right size bin and ran up. They recognized me from my other pass-bys and grabbed it for me. Yay.

If I had needed an exchange at WDW marathon weekend this year I would have been out of luck because I couldn't be there very long. Wanted to be, but was really sick and needed to get out of there asap. (sorry for the germs...so sick I wasn't thinking clearly) I estimated well this year. And thankfully the shirts for the Half weren't sized anywhere near like the TOT shirts were.

So it wasn't that it was a bad experience. They just have to have the shirt size you're exchanging for, and at TOT last year they didn't. For awhile.

If your weight-loss was intentional and made you healthier, a very hearty congratulations! :)

And thank you for sharing your expo shirt exchange experience... so very different from mine, where there were tubs and tubs and tubs of brand new shirts to exchange with. Clearly, from your experience, that is not always the case. Good health and strong training to you for your upcoming running events! :)

Same here. I get the smallest adult size available, but sometimes need to go down to a child size on the 5K shirts (always fine with the XS womens cut tech shirt.) It's tough with our kids because those 5K shirts are huge!! At the 2014 PHM, for example, there were no child smalls available for the 5K shirts - at all. Also, no child XL available for the 5K shirts. So at least for those sizes, we could wait for someone to turn one in, but there was no "stash" of extra shirts available like they had for the other sizes.
