So as I was looking around today at JoannETC I saw the Fiskars shapecutter and templates for it. I am wondering if anyone has used this product and if they liked it.

Thanks for any responses!

I have one and I love it! I like that I don't need a separate circle and oval cutter; it does both. I also have a template that includes a star and heart; both have come in handy. It is really easy to use and to change the blades. My only complaint is that objects with sharp turns, such as the grass border or squares, does not come out well. I hope this helps.

I have this and also love it, but I can't buy any new templets for it. The kit I have came with 5 but I would like to get the circle and other shapes.

I decided against this system because the templates are limited. The one good thing is that you can draw freehand with it. I came close to buying it for that reason.

I have the CM cutting system and I wouldn't trade it for anything but to supplement it I like the systems that use a swivel knife. The downside is that the templates are so expensive. I think I will ultimately end up with the blade runner since you can use any template with it.

I've used mine extensively and I really like it. I only have three templates though, circle, oval, and rectangles though so I haven't tried the sharp edges someone mentioned earlier as a problem. It's great for creating nice mats.

ok thanks everybody for the responses. I think I may try to find one of the starter kits, as I only saw the cutter and templates seperate, and I think it would be better getting them together, especcially if I can use a 50% off ONE item coupon somewhere.
