What is the most desperate/ridiculous thing you've done to meet a crush or get a date??

I'm not proud of this, but.....
I had a crush on this guy back in college. One time he needed a ride home, and I obliged him. In order to see him again, I took a $20 bill (of my own), and went back to his house the next morning (a Saturday) claiming I had found it in my car and I thought it was his. We talked for a while and I asked about his plans for the day, etc..... I think we did end up hanging out that day - probably fishing.

So - spill it - what have you done for a "date".

Nothing too weird. When I was in High School, I had a friend ask a guy out for me, because I was too chicken to do it myself. He agreed and we went on a date, but the date ended up being a disaster and I never saw him again after that.
