hubby and dad enjoyed the disney fishing but the lake one they booked was a bit naff last year so looking for reccomendations this time.

Lake Toho is a World Class Largemouth Bass Lake and is just South of Disney, not far from Kissimmee....Do a google search for "Bass Guides, Lake Toho, Orlando" and several should jump up...

I don't personally know any of the guys, but know Steve Boyd by reputation and he's well thought of...

When are you planning to make the trip? Time of year makes a big difference in both the seas and the lakes...

If I'm available, I have no problem taking anyone bass fishing in my boat....but I'm far from a professional guide:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Ok, sorry, I guess I could've looked at your ticker...my bad:lmao::lmao:

Bass Fishing should be quite good as long as it hasn't gotten super cold (and that is certainly relative) by that time....

Toho should be REALLY good for the bass.....

I don't know anything about Saltwater fishing in the area, but I do know unless there's a "howler" front (that's what us bass guys call them), which is a front with really strong wind, the seas should be relatively calm..

I get home from Iraq December 5th, and I'll definitely doing some bass fishing right about that time!!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

My DH and his buddies went salt water fishing off the Cape Canaveral coast 2 years ago. I can't find any picture from their trip to show you. They chartered a boat and shared the cost among 6 friends. Each one of them paid around $70 for the excursion. I know that there are big fishing vessels where individual fisherman to join(walk in's) At the end of their fishing trip, the boys had about 8 huge catches. Try to search under "salt/fresh water fishing off Atlantic coast(Cocoa beach area)" There, you might find what you are looking for. :thumbsup2

I used this service earlier this year with no issues. Lake Toho is a reasonable distance from WDW. 30 mins or so. I haven't fished Toho in a few years but it is rated as a good lake. If you have a car and are willing to drive you may want to consider Stick Marsh or Farm13.

I like stick marsh, but that drive down the dirt/gravel road to get in there is tough on the boat.....:scared1:

I've fished with Brent a few times and have caught both tarpon and red fish at Indian river (salt water).

He picks you up at your Orlando accommodations and supplies everything you need to catch fish (I bring my own tackle as I'll fish at our resort,but you don't need to).

It's inshore (not rough as you requested) and the warm out-flow of the local power plants make it so if the weather is bad the fish will still bite.

I'd recommend him.
