Does the fishing pond close down in the winter (December)? Or is it open year round?

Alright, CajunWDWFan, I completely understand. We Louisianians cannot go a week without wetting a hook, can we? :wave2:

Are you nuts like we are, being from Louisiana and staying at Port Orleans Riverside? What are we thinking? :goodvibes

Do u have to have a Florida fishing license to fish there onsite??

No license required. Catch and release is required.

You can even bring your own fishin' rig, if you like. But, the price is still the same. The fish in that hole are pretty wise, so listen to the CM's advice.

We stayed at the French Quarter back in 1994 and the Coronado Springs in 2003. So we decided to give the Riverside a try and we don't care too much for the Carribean. There's a limited amount of moderate hotel choices.
