Fishing in Orlando?

Hi,

has anyone who has been to Orlando been fishing out there?

I am going to Kissimmee for 2 weeks and my husband and is mad on fishing. I'd like to try and arrange something for him to go fishing for the day - nothing to far away so a deep sea fishing trip is probably longer than a day. I had heard of some lakes nearby and also saw a pic of people fishing in Disney - though I dont know how good it would be there.

ANy advice or tips would be great - that way I can go shopping for the day!!!

There are various fishing opportunites in WDW - either simply hiring a rod and fishing at Fort Wilderness or Port Orleans Riverside or fishing excursions - here's a link to what we have on fishing in Disney :

Hilary's DH is a very keen angler and hopefully when she's arund she'll post some more info for you.
