fishing excusion

Hi, new here and love all the info on these boards. I have a question about the fishing activity. Did anyone do this. My husband loves to fish and I would love to surprise him. I understand that there is only room for eight people on this activity. Do the spots fill quickly? This is our first cruise so we can't reserve until 75 days out. What chances does he have? Thanks for any info on this activity.

I too am trying to ho ok my husband up with a fishing excursion as a surprise. Actually I would love to go as well but have a two year old maybe in a few years. We are sailing on the western in Jan. He has always wanted to fish in the Keys. Ill be searching for a charter!!!

My husband and son did the fishing excursion on Castaway Cay this past January and loved it. Here is a link to their pics of that day...they had a blast and said they would do it again. They went from 9:30 to about noon and everyone caught something....as you can see in the pics, my son was very happy with his catch....a 35 lb. barracuda!!! We booked the night before at guest service because it was a last minute decision to do it on their part.

Thanks for the reply! Loved the pics...If you didn't sign up until the night before , I guess our chances are pretty good. With only eight spots on the boat I was nervous about getting his hopes up...now I think I'll let him in on the surprize!
