Fishing Excursions: Bass Nitro vs. Regular

We are taking a large family trip in Dec. of next year, and DH woud like to treat his dad to one of the fishing excursions (just the 2 of them).

For those who have experienced it, what did you think? Was the Bass Nitro one better than the standard one offered? Any thoughts on the best marina/best time to go?

We are going to wrap this up and give as a gift this Christmas, so any help and opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would say the Nitro based on my experience. It's a slightly smaller boat but more of a bass boat. I am not a expert fisherman by any means but this boat was also fun as it "scooted" over the water a bit faster!!!

We go early in the morning (7a.m.) as it was a treat for us to watch the sun come up! Quite beautiful actually! It can be cool but we have always gone in Sept-Oct so I do not know what the weather is like that early in Dec.? We were picked up on the docks at the Contemporary (we stayed at the BC).

The regular was a lot of fun, we will be doing it again in May.

my husband did the Bass Nitro and loved it!!!! The highlight was racing across Bay Lake at 70+mph!
