Fishing Excursions at WDW

I had no idea to where to put this thread .

My niece wants to do a fishing trip from Boardwalk . Has anyone else done this , she would like to know if she has to bait her own hook <G> !!!? ?

I looked here on the Dis and other sites , I get info like time and cost for fishing , it just doesn't describe how it works so well.

I did the excursion from the Grand Floridian. It was a ton of fun. One of the best things we have ever done at wdw. In fact it was so much fun that we booked a second excursion on the same trip. The guide (Mike) we had both times was the best. He had a lot of great tales about the celebs he had toured. THe had been doing this for several years and I saw in a more recent trip report that he is still there. He took us out on the boat and he helped the kids cast off and all. He supplied us with softdrinks, bait and all of the equipment. When the kids caught fish he helped them reel them in. Mhy son caught the biggest fish the guide had ever seen caught and I caught the smallest!

We have been to WDW 50 times and it is one of the memories my kids talk about the most. It is well worth the price.
