Fishing Excursions anyone?

My son is nuts about fishing and it looks like we may do one of the fishing excursions they offer.
I would like to try the one that goes near MK, as how cool would that be to fish with the park near you? I was wondering if anyone has done an excursion and what they recommend.

DS and I were picked up at the CR for the 7 AM trip. We had a blast, in 2 hours we caught 21 bass. Most of them 1-2 lbs. but some were 4-5 lbs.

We do this every trip down I love it we do the pontoon boat excursion on bay lake it goes all over the place we have had very good luck over by the boat docks at the GF. If there are only 2 of you on the boat they will put minnows on the rest of the lines and toss them in for you also so you get lots of action. Your son will love this excursion I know I do. I can't wait I am doing the bottom fishing excursion on the cruise this Dec.

I sent my husband and father on a fishing excursion in June for Father's Day, from the Contempory and they both absulutely loved it. They both caught lots of fish and they said that their guide was awsome.

Do you think the fishing is just as good in the afternoon?
Since the parks will probably be packed the day after thanksgiving, I was thinking about going to the parks in the am, and evening and in the afternoon fishing. Is that a good idea?

I am also considering a fishing excursion. How far in advance can you book, 180 or 90?? I really don't want to miss out.
