Fishing at POR

We are scheduled to go to WDW in Jan 2007 and are staying at POR. Has anyone ever rented fishing poles there? If so how did you like it? I was wondering what the cost was? I’m not looking for a high seas fishing adventure but I thought it might be a fun activity to do with my DS who is 3 when we are in need of a break from the parks.
