My husband has fished 2x's with the guides on Disney grounds but this time he is looking to fish in one the big kakes near Orlando. He said he would take care of it but I know that I can always turn to my family here on the boards to give me some good advice:grouphug: We will be in Orlando for 10 days at the end of May. He will have a rental car so distance is not an issue. He did mention something about Harris Lake and Lake Okochobee (SP). Any input would be greatly appreciated:)

This is my 4th guided trip I'll be taking in Feb. I have yet to find a guide that was bad. This recent round of research led me to hawghunter.net. I also spoke to 3 other guides and these guys came out on top for me. Call the toll free # on the site and ask to speak to Todd. They seem to be a very professional outfit and only employ full time guides. Good luck

I've fished with Brent Sloan (First strike guide service) a few times. He does the Orlando pick up and will fish either the local lakes (Bass), or drive you (your hub) to the Indian river to fish the salt water (snook reds and tarpon).

The salt is more money that the local fishing, but it's a long day and he earns his money. Expect to be on the water at sun up, and not put the boat on the trailer till after 3 PM for a full day trip.

Goggle the name you'll find it. They (him and father)
do airboat rides too, nice folks.
