Do you like receiving gifts from the givers home state or country was thinking of giving gifts from Texas like candies and coffee that you can only find in Texas !
Yes, regional gifts are nice. Be aware that not everyone will appreciate candy (not me I love candy), or coffee (we don't drink it).Do you like receiving gifts from the givers home state or country was thinking of giving gifts from Texas like candies and coffee that you can only find in Texas !

I would stick more with stuff we're known for here in Texas. I don't know that we're known for our candies and coffee, but definitely salsa or sauces. Like the kind of stuff sold by Fredericksburg Farms (love that stuff). What about bbq sauces or salsa
I was going to do Texas Pecan Pralines and something Else we have Coffee themed after different Texas Cities !I love the stuff from the persons home! Id go with anything that is local that is a particular favorite of yours. If anything is liquid ish and probably wont be consumed on ship, please keep in mind carry on restrictions.
Mmmm...pralines.I was going to do Texas Pecan Pralines and something Else we have Coffee themed after different Texas Cities !
They are yummy Right !Mmmm...pralines.
Going to go dig one out of my freezer right now! They are yummy Right !
I prefer something relating to the ports or anything Disney we are sailing to.
I don't like magnets, or other memorabilia from a place I have absolutely no connection to.
I would be kind of disappointed if I participate in a FE and I would get a bunch of stuff from different places and nothing in relation to the Disney cruise.
It sure looks like I'm in the minority with my opinion.
Then again, candy is different. I love all kinds of candy.![]()
I think we’re known for pecans that’s why I’m giving Pecan Pralines unless someone is allergic !I would stick more with stuff we're known for here in Texas. I’m on the Magic November 27,2021 cruise I’m one admins , were doing a hometown candy exchange !Sounds delicious I may want to join your cruise!! I think your idea is great I know I would love it - always nice to learn about other areas not just the one you are cruising to as you are doing research on that one!
Are you from The south too lol ?

Kind of. Lived in lots of places in eastern and midwestern US. But Ive loved pecans (and sugar) everywhere!
A cute enough magnet might get me no matter where it was from. LOL
I did postcards (with a small hello written on the back) and I made little bottles of sand and shells from my local beach (where the postcard was from) and attached that to a magnet. Hopefully that wasnt a huge faux paux. This was a small part of our FE, the rest of the stuff was Disney related and meant for use on the cruise.
My absolute favorite item received was a little make it yourself keepsake box/ magnet kit from Bermuda. The gifter included one of those small silver boxes with a clear window top (like a favor box), a few small shells, a charm and a small baggie. The inside of the box was decorated in a beach theme, the outside had a pearl "Mickey" and some rope around it. A postcard attached explained that the baggie was for collecting some pink Bermuda sand, you could then place the sand and trinkets in the box for a sweet keepsake. There was an optional magnet included in the kit. I opted to use things I found myself on the beach in Bermuda (we found a lot of brightly colored "sea plastic" that I used). Anyway, I love it and it was my favorite FE gift, though I loved the ones where people shared some of their home towns too!
We were part of a FE Cookie Exchange one year and I brought New Mexico Biscochitos. Another cruise was Hot Chocolate (dark chocolate bark with red chile). Everyone loved them because they were different. Yes, something unique from TX would be a welcome gift. NM salsa is better than TX!!!
