Looking for advice on members in your group that have either GTY rooms or get upgrades at the port? How have you worked it so that everyone can locate them without having to walk all over the ship? Thanks!!

Our Fish Extender groups usually planned a meet up on embarkation day to fill in the blanks. Also, the FE organizer had a FE list posted on her door for those who didn't get room #s until after the final posting date of the list to stop by and add their number. If they didn't, they couldn't expect any gifts. Then the other participants could check the list for the correct numbers.

We've had rooms on our list that had no FE pockets hanging outside with we went to deliver (had to figure they moved/cancelled). So we wound up with a few extra gifts. We pixie dusted some random FE pockets (not on our list) with those gifts toward the end of the trip.

We usually have a FE group leader and back up. It is unlikely that BOTH persons would have a room change or cancellation. So if someone moves, then they let those rooms know. Then the FE leaders would call and leave a message on the inroom phones of the remaining cabins in the group.

Seems efficient. "Room 7656 is now Room 8188, Have a Disney Day".

Most GTY are filled 10+ days in advance, though for some vacationers, who may already be in transit or elsewhere, it would be an issue to them.
