All sailing the Wonder Hawaii Cruise,

Please answer this question about the Fish Extender Exchange.
Do you want the master list to be split into groups of 15-20 cabins per list or do you want every cabin on one large list?
If you choose one large list, it means you will give to (and receive from) all cabins on the list!

Thank you for voting!

And please, if you're NOT going on this cruise, don't answer!

We just recently booked this cruise. We haven't really decided about participating in the FE yet. However, I'll give my 2 cents. I think the smaller lists are much easier to handle. Especially if you are someone who has to pack for flying in before the cruise.

Well of course smaller lists are easier, but they are not as much fun and people can get bummed when others post pictures of their treats and you realize that someone else got something great and you didn't. I personally think one larger list is great, we are on the ship for a LONG time and it will be really nice to find surprises for the entire 2 weeks. Also the person in charge does not like splitting lists and stated that on the original sign up sheet.

We're recent additions to this cruise and I didn't realize that this was the premise the list was set up. :sad1:

I'm only posting my experience. On our WBTA we had over 176 people (something like 75 rooms)on our FE list. With the limited space/weight allowances for the fliers in the group, we elected to split the list. Now, some people elected to include everyone, but they were only obligated to provide gifts for their list, and noone had "bad feelings" about not being included in one gift or another because we all got LOTS of stuff.

I think the smaller lists are a lot more fun! People get a chance to really get creative and you end up with some pretty amazing, one of kind gifts, yes fewer of them but I always prefer quality over quantity. Maybe that's just me.

I think it is really unfair to to ask people who to fly with limited packing space to take on more than they have room to carry. Airlines are charging so much for luggage these days. Paul and his mom are willing to take on managing the splitting of the lists and anyone who wants to give and receive from each and every cabin are still free to do so. We split the list on both the TA cruises last year and it was no big deal. Some people chose to be in every group, others just one which had about 20-25 cabins and everyone was happy. No one seemed to get upset at what other groups received. Splitting the lists gives more people a chance to participate. Why exclude those who don't have the means to give to everyone?
