If you have fish and chips in the pub, is that considered a counter or table service for the DDP???

Can you buy fish and chips at the take out window and bring it into the pub to eat???

Are there waitresses who go to the tables in the pub or do you have to go to the bar to order??? Thanks!!!:)

I do not believe you can use DDP credits in the pub, only at the kiosk outside.

There are only three or four tables in the pub, you could probably bring the food in there but you will likely have trouble finding a table. People who get the tables tend to stay awhile.

If you order in the pub, you order from the bar. They give you a number and bring you your order.

Can't help you with the DDP questions, but yes. If you purchase the fish and chips outside and want to go in the pub for a drink, you can bring your food in with you.

There are no waitresses in the pub. Ordering is done from the bar.

We got fish and chips off the dining plan (counter service meal) from the window a few weeks ago. From what I saw, you can not eat the pub unless you have a reservation. You have to check in at the host stand like any other table service restaurant. But there are tables off to the right side of the take out window plus there are some along the water if you look hard enough. We ate long the water and I have to say it was one of our favorite meals. At the take out window, there are no servers. It's just like a traditional fast food place. But well worth it.

You can get a reservation for the restaurant (you can eat there without one if there is availabilty) but I think the OP is talking about the pub/bar area only, not the restaurant. You can't make reservations for that. It's only got a few tables inside, and it's difficult to get one. Those who get a table tend to camp there and drink a couple of rounds.

We always go fairly quiet times ie February or beginning of May and have never been able to secure a table to this day...its just soooo busy. We have always ended up walking along and just sitting on the edge of the water somewhere or on a little wall if you can find one. Be prepared to queue for your fish and chips too at the outside window kiosk...all 5 times we have been the queue has been about a mile long with about a 30 -40 min wait. Last time we gave up after 25 mins and went somewhere else as the kids were getting antsy. Mabey you could have someone queue while the other walks round the shops or something?

Oh. I was thinking pub = Rose and Crown restaurant. We were at the window service part 3 weeks ago and had no problem getting a table. We didn't sit too long. I know there aren't too many tables there but there are more if you look harder (to the left, by the water)
