Hi - At the fish and chips to go place in UK - is it fish and CHIPS or fries???

(we are from the Uk and call fries, chips and that would be traditionally how we would serve it - but I know you guys call our crisps - 'chips')

so I am confused - and I expect I've confused you too!!!:lmao:

They are chips not crisps.:) As my friend from England would say- "They are proper chips".LOL

The fish was excellent but the chips were gross, very soggy and not hot.

Yes, you will receive fries with your fish. I though that the fish was good, but VERY greasy! I used MANY napkins to soak up all the grease.

thanks for the replies!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

One more question - are they thick chips (:goodvibes) /fries or more like Macdonalds thin ones??:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

We though the fish and chips at Epcot were truly gross compared to the excellent fish and chips we had in London. It was so greasy.

I have never had Fish & Chips in the UK, but we enjoyed the Fish & Chips in Epcot. They were a bit on the greasy side, but not gross.
We are going to have them again in a few months

I think the best F&C come from the window service rather than inside the Rose & Crown. :earsboy:

I have always wanted to taste the F&C, but always hesitated. This will be the year!:cool1:

We just returned from WDW yesterday & my DS had the fish & chips at both the stand & R&C. I tried his chips from the stand & they were delicious - lightly salted, hot & not greasy. Can't wait to go back! :goodvibes
