Hi poey and welcome to the DIS

Come on over to the UK Trip Planning and Community Forums - that's where most of us Brits hang out. You'll get plenty of responses over there.

And congratulations on planning your first trip to Orlando! My best tips would be to bring your own water and small snacks into the parks (since you're staying offsite you can pick up bottled water and an inexpensive styrofoam cooler to get them cold). Some people like to refill their bottles at the parks, but we don't care for the water there so we bring extras in with us. Bottled water purchased inside the parks can be very expensive!

Another tip is to be sure to have enough film and sunscreen before you get inside the parks...they sell them there, but the prices are exorbitant.

Remember to enjoy the little things...it's tempting to want to do the commando thing the first time there to try to see and do it all, but even seasoned veterans admit that though they've been many times, they still haven't seen and done everything! :D

Most of all--have a wonderful trip!! :D
