First Year DVC Member

Dec. 2 will be my 8th trip to WDW, but my 1st trip as a DVC Member. My home resort is Old Key West, but this trip we're staying at Saratoga Springs Resort.

1. Any words of advice or wisdom for my 1st trip as a DVC member?

2. Anything I should know in regards to staying at Saratoga Springs?

3. Can you guys tell me how you set up a picture of your home resort as your signature?

4. Does anyone know if the topic of a dining plan for DVC members will be brought up at the Annual Meeting on Nov 30th?

Can't answer most of your questions - but wanted to tell you to have a good trip - and most likeky you're going to hear a lot about dues at the meeting!!! And at the SSR end - probably quite a bit about the changes at DTD, the end of the fireworks that are rumored, the new sit-down restaurant they are going to incorporate at SSR, etc. We own at OKW and SSR - but haven't gotten to stay at SSR - not until next Dec - can't wait!!!!!! Have a wonderful trip, should be a great time of the year to go!

Howdy,
We just got back form our 1st trip "home" at SSR
(11-13 thru 11-19) I must admit it is quite a large resort
we styed at the "Springs" right by the main pool area which is
beautiful. we were in room # 3104 looked as if we had been
the 1st ones staying in the room as it was spotless. Would
highly recommond this resort the only downfall is the distance
to some of the parks and there is no Sit down rest at the resort
but the Artist Pallette is pretty good but pricey.

We requested a room near the Hospitality House with a view of Downtown Disney, so we'll see what room I get. I have to call MS to let them know that I'm arriving late (10pm) so that maybe they can hold a room with my requests for me. This will be my 1st time using Magical Express, so we'll see how that goes. Can't wait. As each of my nephews/nieces turn 16, they get a trip to WDW from me. This is my 3rd 16th birthday trip. The kids have a ball. I love going the 1st week in December because its not too crowded yet as it usually is the week of Christmas and the parks/resorts are all decorated for the holidays. So you get to experience the holiday season without having to be there the actual week of Christmas.
