We're still hashing out the big first trip for the kiddo. Our options are for the first week in November or the first week in March. Both have their merits. The March trip would end just before Spring Breakers ramp up, and does not fall even close to Easter or Mardi Gras. So good crowds hopefully. But with November, we might catch a few F&W booths and even a MNSSHP. I think both dates are a coin flip about weather. Not hot (which we like), but could get a cold front... not sure if that's more likely for one over the other. Have no clue which might be more likely to be good swimming weather. If at all. I know DH and I tried to swim once in mild weather in January in those "heated pools" and nearly froze to death.
