First weekend in December 2022

Hi All,

It's been a while
With international travel opening back up we are planning our first trip back since 2019. I almost feel like a newbie all over again.
A quick question for those in the know. Is there anything happening at Universal on the first weekend in December (Sat 3rd / Sun 4th)? I have been looking for accommodation and standard hotel rooms seem to booked out already RPR and SF (previously my 2 go to hotels). The weekend before and the weekend after has availability so just wondering if I have missed something.
We only have the 1 night / 1 park day so wondering now if I should move our plans to the weekend before if crowds are going to be extra busy on the 3rd...

That is an Orlando Informer meetup weekend.
Of course, so is the weekend afterward so it may not be the only thing impacting availablity.

Thank you @CAPSLOCK I keep thinking i'll keep my eyes peeled for a deal but travel is not what it used to be and things are selling out well in advance these days. It seems I have developed some serious FOMO in the last 2 years.

For whatever reason RPR is not included in the group rate for Dec 9/10 for the OI meetup. The weekend before Dec 2/3 is Thanksgiving in the US so will be busy!
