Just wondering crowd levels around the first part of September. Is there a site comparable to touringplans that covers Universal? Looking at staying on-site for the FOL option but if crowd levels are low can't see spending the extra money.

Thanks

I asked a similar question on another thread, but it hasn't been answered yet.

I am not interested in how nice the hotels are, how close, the pools, the restaurants, etc. Just the FOTL, and I can't see it being worth that if it's not that busy.

So hopefully, someone will answer somewhere. :goodvibes:

Because of WWOHP it is really hard to answer this question. Yes the kids are starting up school and if you go after Labor Day then the crowds are usually lower and the express pass was not really needed in the past.

WWOHP has changed all of that, heck this year we went the same time in June as we did last year and it was about 10 times busier than our previous trip. Of course this was opening week so that makes a difference.

I would just check with hotel capacity too, if the hotels still have good AP rates APH code then you can assume the capacity is low. I think after labor day you can get an AP rate usually around 139-159 a night at RPH.

There are not very many sites out there with info on Universal that includes touring plans. Mainly I use this board becuase there is just not that much information out there.

People can't predict how the crowds will be since this is the first year of the Wizarding World and there is nothing to base predictions upon.

Just checked hotel rates for the Sept 14-19 and found no mid-week availability at RPR with rooms open at most rate levels (APH, FLO, AAA, etc) for HRH and PBH. I checked weekend only and all three had rooms available. Thought that was odd, expected less availability on the weekend.

We booked our 1-nt AAA rate stay back in April and the rate I got then is less expensive than most I'm pulling up now, so they must be running at pretty high occupancy. Thank you, Harry Potter. :wizard:

Probably a convention of some sort.
