I don't really know how or even want to do a trip report like I see others doing but I will try to tell you how our trip went.

It was me (over 50) and 7 mid twenty year olds.

We did 2.5 days at Sea World and 4 days at Universal.

Sea World part

Loved it. My favorite of all.

Kracken. That is one intense roller coaster. One ride was more than enough. I came off dizzy. If you like many twist and turns, this may be the one for you. The ride was pretty smooth, but my head did bang the sides a few times.

Atlantis. Never been so wet. Pretty good ride, but I would not do it again.

I liked wild artic. It is rough in places, but enjoyed it.

Manta. My favorite roller coaster of any I have ever tried. I could ride it all day. Also the smoothest coaster I have ever done. I even like the ride position.

Dolphin feeding. Worst experience I had at SW. Way too many people at least at the first feeding.

We all had all day dining and it worked out great. Most of us got our money back in watermellon or strawberries and bottles of water. The food was great everywhere and I think we stopped in all the different places at least once. That pasta buffet place was a real hit. The cookies are very good. I liked the smokehouse the best. The smokehouse now serves breakfast. The usual stuff. Nobody went hungry.

We saw all the shows and really only didn't care for Alure. Saw the clyde and Seamore show the late one 3 times and laughed till my face hurt. Shamu was my favorite. Both the day and the night time shows.

Universal.

I really don't know what is in each park or all the ride names but I will give it a go.

Hulk, Good coaster. Wait times of maybe 5 min. Rode it several times. Maybe my second favorite coaster. It is a long ride too. I was worried abot the launch, but it was great.

Superman. Not impressed. The ride was ok and only a 5 min wait so we rode a couple of times. The screen seems very blurry to me.

Red coaster that goes straight up. Good coaster and good music but the ride seemed short. I did not like the long ride up on my back.

Jaws ride. Enjoyed it. Rode several times. Wait about 10 min. Had good boat pilots each time. Didn't get wet.

The subway ride. Really like the preshow and the finished movie, the actual ride was just ok.

Horror make up show. Really enjoyed that. We all laughed a lot.

ET. We liked it. Loved the line thru the trees. About a 15 min wait.

Simpsons. One of our favorite. There was a part where I felt a little sick for a second, but we rode it about 10 times. Wait was between 10 and 20 min.

High in the sky trolley. We really liked this ride. Trains on different sides go different routes. We liked the one that went thru the place to eat. No wait, so we rode several times.

Cat in the hat. Kids ride? That had to be the roughest ride we did. I really enjoyed the spinning. Almost no wait, so we rode it several times.

Harry Potterville. Eye appeal is impressive. Pictures do not do it justice. It looked pretty crowed to me, but we rode the castle ride 4 times. Once thru the castle and the rest single rider line. Probably took an hour for all 4 rides and we did not get there until around noon. Checked out a couple of shops. Bought a couple of the choc cake things. Had about a bite each. It was good, but I didn't want anymore. We ate at 3 broomsticks. I had fish and chips. I like fish and chips and it was very good. Only problem was, I only got 7 chips. I usually do not count my chips, but it was kind of hard not too. Also got an ear of corn. Best ear of corn I have ever had and I live in corn country. The waitress spilled somebody's drink so she replaced it and brought us a couple of apple pies as an apology. That pie was very very good. I tried butter beer, both kinds, and pumpkin juice and pear cider. The only part I liked was the topping of the non frozen butterbeer. Tasted a bit like eggnog. I was surprised at not likeing the butter beer esp because I am a frozen drink addict. I also love pear cider, but not theirs. Anohter surprise.

Mummy. Rode only one trime. Wait about 15 min. Was not impressed by the ride and really did not care for that drop at the end. I did like the backwards move.

Dinosaur ride. Dullest ride in the world until that final drop which almost killed me. Did not get wet.

dueling dragons. Broke down the first day. Rode the blue side the second day. Did not like. The ride was very shaky and rough. Decided not to do the red side.

Sherk 4d. Horrible in my opinion but I was in the minority on that one. It was like a car ride down a bumpy road with no shocks to me. If you have a bad back, definately avoid that one.

We did not do any of the water get you wet rides. Atlantis gave us all of that we needed. It is too bad too because they looked fun.

Universal counter service meals are terrible. I did have a Nathans chili dog that could have been good, but it was served on a huge unheated bun. It felt like a weinnie is a loaf of not good bread. I have had the Nathans chili dog in the Atlanta airport and that one was much better. I will be skipping counter service at Universal when we go back.

Ate at Bubba Gumps. Very unimpressed. I paid for 2 and it was $60. That did include a couple of mixed drinks. But for that price I do not expect my shrimp to be the prepackaged frozen variety. The fries were definately nothing special. I have eaten at Bubba Gumps in New Orleans and Cancun. Those were much better meals.

I don't remember any of the other rides and we rode everything so the ones I missed, must have been ok.

My biggest problem is the walk to and from the parks. How far is that? Half the time, the moving sidewalks were not even working. I had an annual pass and we had refill cups but forget getting the discount. You could only get it at the inside places and they were all packed except for 3 broomsticks. I could not believe how packed those horrible eating places were every time I went into one when the ride wait times were so low.
