Well, I was getting frustrated thinking that for the second time we'd picked an "event" week to go. Our first ever trip was when they introduced Mission Space and Wishes. This is our second trip and we're bringing DH's parents. Now I realize Disney may change the hours, as May is still some time off, but I'm hopeful now that I've done a comparison of hours from 2004.

Last Year First Week of May:

This Year the First Week of May

So far, the only difference is in MK hours and the fact that Epcot will close at 3:00 on 5/5.

Not too bad! Let's hope it stays that way!!! Of course we'll still enjoy ourselves, it will just be more fun if the crowds are lighter.

According to the WDW site Epcot closes at 3:00 pm on Thursday May 5. I think this is for the press events for the Celebration. The rest of the hours remain the same.

I am anxiously waiting for the details on any events during the week.

You're right, I'll edit the post above. (I was in a hurry!) The Epcot closing at 3:00 accounts for the late MK hours on 5/5, I'm sure. Thanks!

I'm getting worried too, we'll be there from 5/1 to 5/7, and we're bringing my cousins (they're first timers). Last time we went was Feb/March 2003, and I thought it was pretty crowded, so if it's less than that in May I'll be happy :)
