First Week of March - Boardwalk - 7 Month Window

Like the title says

Our home resort is BCV. But my mom wants to bring a *crowd* next year and I think we can more maximize our points by booking at the Boardwalk ( I know OKW is even less points, but she would never want to be away from the boardwalk alltogether! ). Problem is I'm *SUPER* worried about the 7 month window vs the 11 month we usually book at for our BCV.

Has anyone had experience with booking the 7 month window at the boardwalk for the first week of March? anyone hit a "sorry no more room" for that period specifically?

I know it can change from year to year, but just looking for the trend. We would need a 2 bedroom and 2-3 studios!! We typically book 1 2 brm a 2 studios at the BCV, But this year we used a few of our points at the GCV and are trying to make our points stretch

I think the only point savings at the Boardwalk over the Beach Club is in the "standard" view, and those are the ones that are more likely to NOT be available at 7 months. You may be lucky if you call right at 7 months, but March is the start of spring breaks.

You won't get standard view at BWV at seven months out for March. OKW maybe. SSR maybe. Not BWV standard.

Don't forget at the 7 month mark you can purchase the one time use points (up to 24 per year). It does not mention that you cannot use the points at your home resort, just that you cannot book before the 7 month mark. Perhaps that would help you get the villas you need.

Those points have no resort connected to them. They can't be used before 7 months out.

That's a good point about "standard view". Oh well, I think we won't bother. We can still GET room for everyone, we were just hoping the extend the stay a little for everyone.

On occassions where we have called inquiring about rooms at 9 to just more than 7 months out, standards have usually been gone at BWV, and that is before boardwalk views are gone.

I believe 1 bedrooms are the last to be booked, so that's not surprising.
