Is There Something Going On The First Week Of February

I Called Disney Reservations And Only Grand Californian Was Available

No Openings For Disneyland Hotel And Paradise Pier

Is That A Bad Week To Go

I Have A Two Old Year Old Who Cannot Wait In Long Lines

I was wondering the same thing. We have booked 9 nights during this time.. and had trouble getting accomodation at DLR. Apparently also it is only Feb 5-8 that is booked out.

The only thing i can find online for the reason for the sellout is:
www . solution-tree . com/Public/InstituteDetail.aspx?node=&parent=&ProductID=CFF160 (postcount is too low to post actual link!)

From that particular link it looks like they wont be at the Park.. just doing a conference. I'd like to hear from anyone else if they have heard anything else for the reason on these days?

I'm praying that this is all it is! :)

Gee, I'd sure like to know too! We're booked 2/1 - 2/9 & I was hoping for really low crowds! Do the DL hotels fill up with conventioners?

Gee, I'm going too for a quick trip 2/1 - 2/3 and was hoping for a nice quiet weekend. I'm beginning to think there's no such thing as a quiet weekend any more...no matter what time of year you go! :confused3

We're going Feb 3-8th as well. We went this year during the last week of January and it was a perfect time to go, crowdwise. We were hoping for the same from this visit. Now I'm worried!

We were debating for that weekend because its dd's sixth birthday. Its either that or to the snow in Tahoe.
