First Week in October

Thinking about planning a 5 day trip the first week in October. Is the 1st week in October a good week crowd wise?

I'd say excellent time as there is seemingly nothing on the horizon especially with food and wine starting so early this year.

The BEST week I've had was the week before thanksgiving and in mid may but you should be good and enjoy!

I've done that week a couple of times; it wasn't too bad crowd wise in 2014....but it _was_ a couple of years ago.
