I'm in the early stages of planning a trip for our family (myself,Dh, our 3 kids, and my parents) to Disneyland. We've taken the kids twice to WDW, but this will be everyone's first trip to Disneyland.

We're trying to decide when to go. We've pretty much narrowed it down to either the last week in September, or the first week in October. I'm really leaning towards the first week in October, so we can do the Halloween party. However, if October is more crowded than the end of September, we'll skip the party and take lower crowds instead.:lmao:

So, just to give me an idea, in general what are the wait times for the rides in early October (rough estimate)? Are we talking walk-on, 10-15 minutes, or more? Like I said, we've never been to DLR and I really have no idea what to expect as far as crowds go!

Also--is the end of September signifigantly less crowded than early October? Or is it pretty much the same, crowd wise?

Thanks so much!! I'm sure I'll be back with lots more questions as the planning goes on.

Not very crowded. I'd probably say walk ons for minor attractions and maybe 25 at the peak of the day for major attractions. Both weeks are probably about the same, but if you want the Halloween party, go for October.
