First Week in April???

What's going on during the beginning of April? We're headed out on 3/31, and hotels are all booked up? Is there something going on that first weekend??

Well, unfortunately you're going to be there in the middle of spring break season, so look out for heavy crowds I'm afraid.

Yes, you've landed right in the middle of it. But there are ways to survive!
Use www.ridemax.com , take two-way radios so your party can split up if you have to.
Take afternoon breaks at the pool.

Have fun! We'll be there at the end of the month. Can't wait. Wish we were there NOW!

I didn't think we'd be hitting spring break; who has it that first week in April? Up here in the northeast, we have February vacation the week of President's day, and then April Vacation is usually around the 3rd week in April...and colleges are the first or second week in March, so we figured we'd be in a lull time, after college spring break, and before April vacation....guess we'll just have to see how it goes.

We'll be there from March 28-April 3. Not only is it spring break for a lot of kids, but there are several large conventions in town as well. On the convention website it shows (39000/12000) natural trade expo from march 24-28, (30000) religious conference (3/30-4/2) and a few other little conventions here and there. I was also looking at park hours and they're open quite a bit longer than normal. Park hours mon-thur are DL 9-11 and DCA 10-8. Fri-Sun DL 8-12 and DCA 10-10. So it looks like it'll be one very busy week. On the plus side, we'll be having fireworks every night , weather permitting. Hope you have a great trip. We can't wait. Only 43 more days til leave.
