First Visit - What to do to prep the room?

I always run the dishes through the dishwasher. I also clean out the tub only if our son is with is (DH and I never use it) and lysol the room down. It does not take that long and I will at least feel someone clean.

I am kind of a germaphobe though.:guilty:

After reading the thread on Jacuzzi tubs, I will clean that. I check the dishes, but haven't found any dirty ones yet. I also wipe down the remotes, telephones and light switches with disinfecting wipes, and then just the normal unpack suitcases, groceries, etc.

I feel better when I have my bowls of fruit on the counter and food in the kitchen. A full refrigerator is what makes a home!

A word of advice. I have stayed at BLT three times now and I would STRONGLY recommend checking out the pullout couch/chair if someone is going to be sleeping on them. I have found crumbs on the sheets twice now and the last straw was on our last trip when a used Kleenex and unidentifiable brown stain were on the sheet of the pullout chair:scared:

You're right, that's very important. Coming back at 11pm and finding out you have a mess on your hands, isn't pleasant, even worse that you have no sheets or pillows!
