I'll be making my first trip to WDW at the end of May and have decided that we will only be attending MK and MGM at WDW and therefore the 4 and 5 day park hopper passes don't appeal to us. Is it possible to pre-book single day tickets to these parks to save having to buy the tickets on the day or do they only advance-sell multi-day tickets.

The reason for only visiting MK and MGM is that we'll be in Orlando for 9 whole days and we put higher priority on Universal Studios, IOA and Seaworld (hence we'll be buying the orlando flex ticket). Once you add in a day at KSC and a day shopping there's not much time left!!

Don't think you can buy them in advance. Maybe you can buy two at once, though, so you don't have to queue on the second day?? Hope someone can help here.

Top tip for ticket windows especially at MK - when you get off the tram, head far left or right and the windows will have shorter queues. For some reason people behave like sheep and just go to the nearest window. We are always amazed (as we swoop by with our multi-day passes) that the central booths are jammed and the ones right at the edges have no lines at all - just one or two people buying their tickets.
