First Visit to California Grill

I am very excited to have reservations at California Grill in Dec 2017, but our reservation is for 4 is at 9:05 pm. Can we still view the fireworks at 9 pm? What should we expect? Is service, tables and options limited given the fireworks at the time of reservation? What to do/expect...I appreciate your feedback!

You would go out on the deck to view. They will hold your dinner if you have ordered. Plan to arrive a half an hour to 15 minutes before your res. You may get seated early. It's truly magical!

We average 30 minutes to be seated at California Grill, every time we've been. Still, I'd arrive a bit early. That way, they can check you in and you'll have time to find a spot on the deck for fireworks...then hopefully seated after the show. There's usually a mass exodus right after since lots of patrons camp out a bit to wait on the fireworks.

It looks like HEA is at 8pm on 1/8/17. If we have a reservation for California Grill at 9:05pm, would we be allowed to arrive early enough to see the fireworks from there?

I haven't been there before, so I have no idea of the layout. Is there a specific viewing area or only from wherever your table is located?

I think they'll let you go up early once you check in; just tell them you're going to wait in the bar!
Lots of tables at CG have fireworks view, but there's also an outdoor observation deck that you can watch from. We like the outside view- we take our beverages out with us to watch the show! The kitchen and servers at CG are accustomed to serving around the show; we've never once (in 5 visits) had our food arrive at the table while we've been outside. They are great with timing food around the fireworks show!

You won't be seated before fireworks on a 9:00 show with a 9:05 ADR. People will camp their tables until after the fireworks.

You'll be allowed up to the deck. The place empties after the show, and you'll get a table then.
