Okay, so my wife and I are going to visit US/IOA in Sept (We won the free tickets).... I have no idea what to do? I have some questions....

1. Is there any transportation between WDW and US*?
2. Is there any transportation between MCO and US*?
3. I would like to stay onsite for the Express perk. Where is the best place to find a deal?

Thanks for your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*I have been to WDW once in 06 and we used ME and onsite buses so we didn't think about transportation then...

The best deal on transportation between WDW and Universal is usually with Mears. They charge $18.00 round trip per person with a 24 hour reservation. Since I don't go to the airport (unless I really have to) I'll let the other homies jump in on the airport transfers. I would imagine Mears would be competitive on that route too. And since I don't need a hotel, the Universal other homies will give you plenty of information on deals at the three resorts. I think you are wise staying onsite simply because you will get spolied with the unlimited Express Plus access. :thumbsup2

I am no expert on the resorts - there are currently SS rates listed on the web site for September; the SS rates require minimum 3 night stay and the discounts are greater the more nights you stay, including a stay for 5 nights and pay 3 or stay 7 nights pay 4; if you planning on staying less than 3 nights - check the AAA rates and also possibly the APH rates; better APH rates (presently only 10%) will come out closer to September (if you do find a good APH rate - someone in your party will need to purchase a preferred AP @ 199.00 plus tax, rather than getting a park ticket for that person) - you will need to compare the additional cost of AP over the ticket price for that person against savings on the hotel room for the APH as well as other perks such as food and merchandise discounts. September are value rates for the hotels, and I would think you be able to find an additional discount even if you are staying less than 3 nights.
