First Visit Button

We will be bringing my DD's friend along to WDW this summer. We will be staying at Shades of Green. This will be the friend's first visit to Disney. We are all looking forward to the trip!

I think I have seen that there might be a "First Visit" button that guests can wear in the parks and that person sometimes gets a special "hello" from cast members.

Assuming they exist, where could we get one? I think it would be so cool for her to be greeted from time to time while enjoying the attractions.

When we've stayed at SSR we have seen them them given to guests when they check-in. Not sure about Shades of Green.

They have similar buttons at Disneyland also, and you can usually get some of them upon checkin and I believe guest relations inside the park can also help with some of them.

When we were making our ADRs, the CM advised DW that we could pick up these buttons for DS2 and DD2 at the resort desk when we check in.

Now, that's for POR, I'm not quite sure how it works at SoG, which isn't actually a Disney resort.

Thanks for the replies. Since we are a rope drop family, we'll probably double back to Guest Services later on our first day. Not sure which park that will be, the schedule hasn't been released yet!

yes, you can get the pin at guest services at each park. DD wore hers for the week (it was her first visit to each park, after all )
